How to use Stage & Screen Marketplace

Our website was created to provide professionals in the entertainment industry a one-stop web location for finding hundreds of types of entertainers, artists, teachers, technicians and designers in the film, stage and special event industries.

Stage and Screen Marketplace is designed to give talent buyers absolute privacy while decisions are being made regarding hiring and casting. We do not monitor visitors nor are our listers allowed to use internet sites where a visitor has to give identifying information to view a website or web page. We require all of our listers to use private websites for contact.

Stage and Screen Marketplace is divided into three distinct sections:

Stage and Screen Marketplace
Technicians and Crew

Our Entertainers by State section, located on the left side of our home page, features an extensive listing of professional entertainers from every corner of the entertainment world.

We are especially proud of our Cultural Entertainment links that feature musicians, dancers, storytellers, comedians and other artists that specialize in entertainment that is rich in specific cultural heritage. Our Entertainers by State section also lists hundreds of corporate entertainers, educational entertainers, party entertainers, artists, musicians, character performers and actors/actresses from all over the world.

Our Technicians and Crew section, which you will see on the right side of our home page, is intended to showcase the artists, designers, technicians and other professionals that work behind the scenes to bring all types of entertainment to audiences throughout the world. If you are looking to finance, produce or direct a film, commercial, stage production or any other type of large scale event, this is the section where you will begin to gather the behind the scenes talent that can turn your vision into reality.

Right in the center of our home page you will find Stage and Screen Marketplace. It is the most unique section of our website and is itself divided into six segments:

Intellectual Properties features plays for children and adults as well as screenplays that are available for production. Stores features businesses that support artists and entertainers by providing supplies, equipment and services to performers locally or worldwide via the internet.

Performing Arts Education lists local schools, teachers and instructors that offer educational and training programs for those pursuing a career in the arts and/or communications.

Memorabilia is the section of the marketplace where one can find rare photos, books, films, props and other collectible pieces from the entertainment industry.

Classifieds provides sellers of previously used entertainment props, costumes, equipment, etc. the opportunity to connect with buyers from all over the world.

Audition Notices contains information for participating in films and stage productions and will be updated as more opportunities arise.

3.) When that talent window comes up, find the state you are working in and simply click on any of the entertainers listed under that particular state.

4.) You will be taken immediately to their website where you can decide privately and without interference if you are interested in further contact. If so, simply contact the talent directly via the instructions on their site. If you are not interested and would like to visit the sites of other entertainers, simply hit your back button and you will be able to choose another entertainer in that category.

Please keep in mind that an asterisk (*) next to a lister's name denotes talent that is willing to travel nationwide for projects or performances.

Please note that the Memorabilia, Classifieds and Audition Notices sections may not provide links to other sites. In these three sections you will find items for sale and contact information for the sellers. Please use caution when purchasing anything from any online source. Because of their security measures and reputation, we recommend using PayPal when making online purchases.

All contact with entertainers and other professionals found on this site is sent directly to the artist or their representative. Please note that Stage and Screen Marketplace does not take a percentage of an artist's fee nor do we negotiate or get involved in the business transactions between our listers and those that wish to hire them.
